A: CLMA’s online Career Center allows job seekers and employers to post résumés and job opportunities to be viewed by thousands of clinical laboratory professionals. Visit careers.clma.org for information, pricing, and instructions.

A: Contact your Chapter to learn more about volunteer opportunities. A full list of Chapters is in the Chapter Finder section.

Q: How do I get appointed to a CLMA committee?
A: A complete list of CLMA committees and their charges is available in the About CLMA. To volunteer to serve on a committee, send a letter of interest describing special expertise that would qualify you to be appointed and a copy of your curriculum vitae to the CLMA Executive Office at info@clma.org or 312/321-5111.

Q: Can I look up contact information for other members online?
A: CLMA members can use the Search Members feature in the Membership section to look for other members online. Members must login to access this feature. Please note that some members have chosen to not have their contact information available on the web site.

Q: When are membership renewal invoices sent out?
A: An initial renewal notification is emailed two months before the date a membership is scheduled to expire. This invoice is followed by two mailed notices and two more email notices.

Q: Can I renew my membership or update my contact information online?
A: Members can renew online and update their contact information by visiting the Membership section, choosing the appropriate option, and logging in.

Q: Does CLMA sell my email address to outside vendors?
A: CLMA does not sell or rent member or customer email addresses to any third parties for any purpose.

Q: How do I become a presenter at the CLMA ThinkLab Conference and Exhibition?
A: All presenters must submit a proposal for each presentation they would like to make at CLMA ThinkLab.

CLMA guidelines and submission forms are available approximately 1 year before the conference in the Conference/Education section.

Q: What continuing education credits does CLMA offer and how do I apply for them?
A: CLMA is an approved provider of credits from ASCP (CMLE), ASCLS (P.A.C.E.), Florida, and California.
CLMA also offers Canadian attendees a Certificate of Attendance that can be used toward CSMLS credit.
Seminars: You will be asked to indicate which credits you are applying for when you register for the program. You then will be asked to sign in on site. Your certificate will be mailed to you 4 to 6 weeks after the program.
Audioconferences: The site coordinator for the audioconference will be sent a CE sign in form once your site has registered. After the audioconference, you will be asked to sign the form and indicate for which credits you are applying. The form should then be faxed to CLMA at 610/995-9568. You will receive your certificate 4 to 6 weeks after the program.
